Colorful Wedding Inspiration Shoot In The Lavender Fields of Provence

Happy woman with colorful balloons in lavender field

While we all keep trudging on in our day-to-day lives with the crazy reality that is this worldwide pandemic, this team decided to dream up a cheery inspiration shoot to help lift our spirits. Gone are the go-to neutrals and in their place–bright red, lavender, yellow, teal, blue, pink, and peach! Even the fashion got amped up for this shoot, with big tulle ruffles and a bright red swimsuit–everywhere you look, there's something colorful and exciting. The awesome thing about this dreamy shoot is that the bright colors are done in such a tasteful way that we can seriously see real couples incorporating this beautiful color scheme into their weddings...and we can't wait!

LMD Conseils and Amelie Despinoy love color and wanted to design an inspiration shoot that challenged the current neutral trend in the wedding industry. These florals by Capucine Atelier Floral not only showcase the color palette but embody the cheer and modernity that this shoot is all about. Domaine De Bres is such a unique venue and offered a variety of fun spaces to shoot, from the lavender fields to the gorgeous pool. Laurent Rostaing followed the model as she lounged about the property to get every moment on video and Veronique Chesnel Photographer captured these bright and colorful photos! Keep reading to hear more from Amelie Despinoy about the inspiration behind this shoot and check out the full gallery to see more!

WE NEED A LITTLE CHEER

Vibrant floral decorations for an outdoor ceremony

We often see how soft color palettes take over weddings showcasing neutrals, pinks, whites, and pastel shades. But after all we've been through (due to the pandemic), Amelie, from Despinoy Wedding, wanted to show a colorful styled shoot to cheer up the mood. This edgy, high-fashion editorial is pushing the limits of the traditional wedding. Sculptural wedding flowers and a soft lavender, blue, red, and yellow color palette are here to shake things up. LMD Conseils, Despinoy Wedding, and By Chesnel Photography were the masterminds behind this South of France shoot.

BRING ON THE COLOR

Joyful woman with balloons and bubbles in lavender field

I'm obsessed with color, so I wanted to have colors with unique and sophisticated elements. Lavender, yellow, blue, red, and pink was the color palette. And, I wanted three different looks to show something different: a civil modern look, a red swimsuit with an incredible pool and view, and a ceremony look with a colorful backdrop, followed by a lavender field with colorful balloons and huge bubbles. Seems a little crazy, but it definitely works very well together and creates this high-fashion modern shoot! It wasn't easy at first, because I had so many ideas and I wanted something fun, but with the help of the art director, LMD Conseils, we found the perfect match. This shoot is definitely for the confident bride who loves fashion and color. A lovely modern design for this micro wedding inspiration, Joli Bazaar provided furniture and the crockery, CMO Studio provided lovely paper goods and the candles were from Ester And Erik. For the Wedding Cake, Synie's Paris provided this full white cake, a very modern style, with the ruffles reminding us of the wedding dress.

GETTING THE LOOK

Colorful flowers decorate an elegant table setting

It's bold, it's fun and it's colorful! The floral arrangement was a mix of fresh, dried, and dyed flowers, made by Capucine Atelier FloralAlexia Bigaud-Morin styled soft and natural bridal makeup for the first look. For the second look, with the swimsuit, it was glowy and natural. And, she kept the wet hair to create this high-fashion hairstyle (inspired by the red carpet) with red lipstick. The ceremony look and the wedding dress were made by Geraldine Daulon, a French designer. The first look was modern with this kimono inspiration mix with pants. For the second look, she designed a bold wedding dress with ruffles on the shoulder. The red swimsuit, from Princesse Tam Tam, was the link to the color palette.
