How to Have a Boho Summer Beach Wedding in Greece

It goes without saying, but a gorgeous beach wedding like would be a total dream come true! This stunning editorial took place in the picturesque Mojito Bay just outside Athens. Mata, the Floral Tales’ florist, and Alex from Art & Grace Photography formed a team of exceptional vendors to create this summer boho wedding on the beach.

From Art and Grace: Not far from the center of Athens, lies the dreamy coastline of Athens Riviera, where the venue Mojito Bay is located. The venue’s stunning private beach, where the gold of the sand and the blue of sea and sky prevail, is the perfect spot for a romantic ceremony.

We built a circular arch with salex, king proteas, garden roses and pampas grass by the sea to highlight the bohemian style of the place. Xback chairs where placed amphitheatrically so the couple and the guests would enjoy a magical ceremony with mesmerising colours and a breathtaking views.

In the outside hall of the venue, Creation rentals provided us with a beautiful wooden table, bohemian crystal glasses and food coasters with golden details, linen azur hand towels and golden cutlery. We decorated the table with transparent and dusty blue vases with delicate flowers like garden roses and blush bride proteas, mixed with wild boho ones like blue eryngium and pampas grass! Dusty blue candles on golden candlesticks were a delightful detail. Our cake was made by Pavlov’s Lab.

The perfect time for the reception to begin is after enjoying the sunset when the light has fallen. So, in order to enhance romanticism, without the sweet sunlight anymore, we were looking for a celebratory and elegant atmosphere, which will embrace the table with guests. We achieved that by adding a great setup of fairy lights provided by Soundstruck!

The wedding dress was designed by the exceptional Greek bridal designer Anna Anemomilou. With Italian polka dot tulle and embroidered lace, this is a great proposal for a romantic wedding by the sea! Make-up artist Elizabeth Fotou created a natural, tension-free look for the bride, so that she looks fresh and glowing. Christina Tila, is responsible for the exceptional hair styling. The groom dressed in a very chic suit, provided by Greek well experienced, since 1947, Christakis tailor, consisting of candia trousers with side-adjusters made in Napoli and a Super 130's waistcoat, Italian fabric by REDA, which tied together perfectly with our flowers and created a boho and ethereal romance.
