Dripping in honey gold accents, frothy fabrics, and bright florals, this engagement shoot is a feast for the eyes. Starting with a spicy boudoir session and ending with a black-tie sendoff, this shoot will leave you saying...if that's the engagement...what on earth is the wedding gonna look like? With more and more couples opting for elopements, why not stretch the festivities out a bit with an over-the-top engagement shoot? And this one is just about as extravagant as it gets!
There is absolutely no denying that Vanilla Rose Weddings and this incredible team of vendors went all out on this inspiration shoot. With an evolving color palette and progressively formal ensembles, these photos by Natalie D Photography tell a full story. Emma Cox Brocantee and Kate Wren Flowers worked hand-in-hand to create these jaw-dropping florals that you'll see throughout. PRICELESS MOMENTS
This shoot is inspired by celebrating intimate engagements, small moments together like reading each other love notes or reminiscing about wonderful times. We started the day off with beautiful hand calligraphy by Lenka Calligraphy and stationery by Peonies and Paperclips bringing meaningful poems and song lyrics to life. The proposal is set in the idyllic Bourton Hall, an 18th Century Warwickshire Country Mansion which is inspired by the Italian Renaissance.
AN AUTUMN ROMANCE
Our proposal dinner is set with a stunning tablescape created by Vanilla Rose Weddings. It is rich with autumn tones with dusty oranges and yellows, whimsical florals, and ornate tableware by Duchess & Butler. Quintessential British flowers by the talented Emma Cox Brocante arranged with natural fruits and honey spread across the table with Renaissance-inspired pots, which reflect the stonework of this 18th-century manor house perfectly. The beautiful flat lays bring together the romance and autumnal story of this romantic proposal with love notes and hand-sewn napkins. Natalie D Photography used film for a timeless and fine art aesthetic.
BRINGING THE OUTSIDE IN
Ruffled dresses by Millia London showcase romance like something out of an old Hollywood movie. The third part of our shoot is a stunning evening celebration with an area for our couple to enjoy mini cakes from Cotton And Crumbs and champagne after the wonderful proposal dinner they have both shared. The mini cakes were created to take home to their loved ones to celebrate their engagement. The greenery created by Kate Wren Flowers brings the outside into their quiet dessert table corner so that they can reminisce on their day and start planning the rest of their lives together. It’s not just weddings we can celebrate, but all the magical moments leading up to it, like the engagement!
