Located on the edge of Lake Avandaro, Mexico sits the coolest boutique hotel you never knew existed! Cinco Rodavento was the dream location for this wedding inspiration from Karla Casillas & Co. and it beckons adventurous couples to come say “I do”.

A team of talented vendors created an original + stylish design with industrial metals, bohemian flair, and soft colors. From the rooftop ceremony with a triangle arbor, to the outdoor reception table with swings (!!) it’s all about creating an unforgettable experience for you and your guests! Just a 2-hour drive west of Mexico City lays the exquisite town of Valle de Bravo. In the heart of the town, on the edge of Lake Avandaro, sits Cinco Rodavento - a zen-like boutique hotel beckoning adventure lovers and respite seekers alike to stay a while. Karla, Amelia & Pamela of Karla Casillas & Co. accompanied me to Cinco Rodavento to photograph a styled wedding shoot within the hotel.

The shoot took place in front of Lake Avandaro on a beautifully hazy day, making our backdrop all the more mesmerizing. The Karla Casillas team curated the wedding ceremony area beautifully, using a selection of modern and boho chic furnishings to create that intimate and original vibe that so many brides and grooms are looking for.

Your wedding destination

We combined deep, lush rustic hues within the florals, which I thought played out beautifully next to the slate grey flooring and walls. Cinco Rodavento, as a wedding venue, is the embodiment of modern warmth, for those seeking a wedding destination with some serious personality.
