The Perfect Bridal Look for Every Part of Your Wedding Day
A wedding can be broken down into a few key pieces, the ceremony, the reception, dancing, and the grand exit. It's not unheard of for brides to make an outfit change from the ceremony gown into something a little more streamlined for the reception. But...what if you could have a different look for each different part? That's right a ceremony dress, a dress for cutting the cake, a dress for breaking it down on the dance floor, and a dress to make your big escape? That's exactly what this team did for this styled shoot and it's every bit as dreamy as it sounds.
Milk Events wanted to create an opulent inspiration shoot to show brides what is possible for their look at every point of their wedding day. The venue, Stone Mountain Estate, is the perfect balance of modern and natural and has plenty of long walkways where our bride could have a runway moment and walk-it-out. Wild Muse Floral Company created all of these delicate, whimsical floral arrangements, including the beautiful ceremony arch. Ether & Smith captured every detail for each look from the intricate embroidery to the way the gowns moved. If that wasn't enough, Cotton Love Studios was also there to get it on video. A FASHION-FORWARD AFFAIR
Set at Stone Mountain Estate in the beautiful Malibu canyons, we put together an amazing vendor team for a fashion-forward shoot that showcases fluid moments throughout a bride’s wedding day. We based the four looks around key moments. Each look is paired with a stunning floral arrangement and set up. Kicking off the ceremony, we have the show-stopping 'Seraphina' Galia Lahav gown, full of volume and shimmer. It lightly glistens in the sun, and the sleeves provide all the drama turning every head as you walk down the aisle. Paired with the beautiful Malibu mountains, this look will take your breath away.
THE FORMAL LOOK
For our grand entrance, we transition into a different type of voluminous piece, the 'Baldwin' high-low by Monique Lhuillier. It still has all the drama with light tufting but is also flirty and fun, making it perfect for the reception. Wear this through the night for all your wedding formalities. We loved this gown so much, we designed the wedding cake to mimic the tufting in the gown.
SLIP INTO SOMETHING A LITTLE MORE COMFORTABLE
Before you make your way to the bar, slip into the 'Sampaio' two-piece set by Galia Lahav. This set features a long-sleeved silk jumpsuit and sheer skirt with Swarovski crystals so that you’re ready to shimmer amongst all the lights on the dance floor. Don’t forget to bring your champagne! For our last look, whether you’re having a grand send-off or heading to an after-party, you can still end the night with a bang. This caped mini from Kim Kassas is that and more. Amongst the night sky and candle lights, this mini is unforgettable.
