This Stylish Elopement Inspiration Shoot Will Have You Seeing Red…In a Good Way

Red, black, and white is a classic color scheme for weddings and events in general, but we've never seen it used quite like this. Vibrant poppy red is the hero of this shoot mixed skillfully with other shades of red, pink, orange, and even yellow. All of these hues meld together to create one of the most sophisticated red-based color palettes we've ever seen. Clean lines and geometric patterns beautifully balance the soft floral and fabric elements and what's left is an elegant and modern elopement shoot with a pop of fun!

Working with other local vendors, Altar'd Events planned every detail of this styled shoot. Jess And Jenn Photography did a beautiful job of creating contrast with these photos, making our couple really shine. The killer florals by Rouge Events Design also played a huge role in making this shoot at The Dogwood such a success. You can see all of the images in the full gallery. This rad red styled shoot is one of a kind because of its inspiration: BOLD RED. It’s rare to see a dominant color showcased throughout an elopement, but this one is done with elegance and modern flare. The Delta gown, designed by Kirsten Paige, an American-made, independent designer, is a tulle A-line gown with a halter neckline and dramatic low-back with parallel center straps. The bold colors beautifully complement the couple's clean white gown and black suit. McKenna and Erwin, the bride and groom, found one another through their mutual love of Cardinals baseball when they met outside Busch Stadium. Their love has been a hit ever since.

This luxe shoot was located at The Dogwood in St. Louis, MO. The venue has a lounge-like vibe, offering tasteful cuisine by The Social Affair. The one-of-a-kind bouquet was arranged with red ranunculus, roses, queen protea, red French tulips, peach garden roses, sherbet roses, and pincushion protea. Altar'd Events designed the stunning red tablescape. The secondary colors of black, peach, orange, and light pink gave the look an extra pop. Cake House Design perfectly tied in the playful color scheme with pops of color cascading down the two-tiered wedding cake. The bright colors made for a beautiful backdrop for this stunning Mr. and Mrs.!
