Spring is just around the corner, bringing with it warm weather, the blooming of fresh growth, and new beginnings. At the Hollins House in Santa Cruz, California, De Joy Photography worked with Hollins House and View Point Events to show us the radiance and breathtaking splendor that can be found when among the natural beauty of Northern California.   Providing stunning views and intimate, peaceful gathering areas along with historic architecture, this venue is perfect for the bride looking to exchange vows with the calling of birds and the warmth of a soft breeze, entertain guests while toasting sunset over a pristine landscape, and dance the night away under a canopy of welcoming trees and stars.

Immaculate details

Sara from Paeonina was inspired to design her florals to embody a styling that remains classically beautiful but with a bold splash of color which created a breathtaking ceremony. The palette was inspired by the colors of fall fading into winter whites.

Laura of View Point Events brought the latest home decor and fashion trends to create a romantic outdoor setting. She combined different textures of fabrics, wood, metals, and glass to weave a design that brought the reception to life. The beautifully delicious cake was provided by Santa Cruz Buttercup Cakes which completed the picturesque setting. Tranquille Spa chose a soft, updo hairstyle with texture while the makeup focused on creating a soft smoky eye with soft pink lips. Michele with Heart Paper Soul created a romantic water painted invitation suite that showed off the beautiful venue. Lastly, Epiphany Bridal Boutique brought the spirit we were looking for in transforming our bride into an elegant bride with a Justin dress and a handsome suit from Michael Kor’s.
