A Real Life Fairytale Wedding in Blue and White

Rebecca & Tyler’s wedding is a RL fairytale come true. Just months prior to their I dos, the groom suddenly went into kidney failure and was fighting for his life. Luckily, his best man and now blood brother, ended up being a perfect match and gave him the kidney he needed to survive.

Vows are so much more than just words that you say on your wedding day. Life is short and it is precious and it can change in an instant. Rebecca and Tyler truly lived out their vows before they ever walked down the aisle. Before their wedding, Tyler went into kidney failure. He was on dialysis and looking for a donor. Without hesitation, he and Rebecca's families were tested but no one was a match. But his best friend was. Just a few months before they said "I do", Tyler's best man and best friend donated his kidney -without even thinking twice.

Their whole wedding day was a fairytale, but when it came time for the reception, the speeches were some of the best anyone had ever heard. As a photographer, I don't think I'd ever felt so much love in one room. Every single person knew how incredible it was that we were there, watching them get married when in the months before Tyler was fighting for his life and Rebecca was right beside him the whole time.
