A Romantic Elopement Overlooking The Beautiful Cliff Tops At Katikies Santorini
The cliff tops at the Katikies Santorini in Santorini are the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding. Originally planned for 2020, this couple had to reschedule their wedding due to travel bans and restrictions as a result of the pandemic. However, after rescheduling, picking a new date, and a new venue the couple was able to elope and fly to Santorini to have their beautiful dream wedding full of minimalist and elegant details.

The sweeping views of the cliff tops at the Katikies Santorini in Santorini are the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding and Chloe and Francis fell so much in love the first time they visited the island that they decided this is the place to elope. “We chose Santorini because this was our dream. We could get married in Toronto or Guangzhou with our families but neither would have been as breathtaking, as special, nor as incredible as a destination experience. We’re a couple that never settles and we don’t like to make compromises so if we were going to do an elopement somewhere it had to be the place that was at the very top of our list; Santorini [...] since there really is no place on earth like it.” - Chloe
As 2020 has it, this wedding also went through changes due to the travel bans but thankfully, after months of rescheduling, a new venue, a new date and four flights from Canada, this lovely couple made it to Santorini and had their dream wedding.
Both Chloe and Francis were very hands on with the designing of the wedding and we had a blast going through the process and satisfying their strong sense of style. Their inspiration was a Japanese garden theme and we used the timeless baby’s breath in a minimalist and elegant setting to create a sophisticated frame for the ceremony.
"The whole ceremony blew us away and went above and beyond what we could have imagined especially during a pandemic. It was a magical experience for us both.
