A ROUGH START

White flowers decorate church aisle for wedding ceremony

Imagine the ancient Cistercian Abbazia Di San Giusto, built in 1146, and overlooking the valley of the river Marta, protected by hills on either side. This venue was the unique and breathtaking backdrop of the romantic wedding of Chiara and Leonardo in the late summer of 2020, a wedding that has been postponed twice due to the worldwide health crisis. Despite that difficult period, the emotional wedding finally took place in the small medieval borgo of Tuscania.

The beautiful setting and the romantic arrangements by flower designer, Sartoria Floreale, underlined the couple's style with vintage and sophisticated touches. The religious ceremony was held in the Church of Santa Maria della Rosa, in the center of the medieval borgo of Tuscania.

After the ceremony, the guests reached the stunning Abbazia Di San Giusto to enjoy the reception, a romantic dinner in the cloister, and the dance party on the terrace that lasted till sunrise. It was truly an unforgettable wedding in this difficult period.
