Create your own dreamy (and drapey!) rose-inspired wedding in 4 steps
Step into a world of softness, romance, and sculptural beauty with our latest editorial at Preto Loft: Rose Reverie. Designed by Zelie & Co. to embrace the ethereal charm of flowing fabrics, gentle curves, and the warmth of candlelight, this editorial embodied a poetic take on modern romance. At the heart of this vision was the stunning custom-made pink veil by Blair Nadeau, a delicate masterpiece that draped elegantly over the bride, evoking a whimsical and feminine essence. Its soft blush hue, captured on camera by Danielle Cargill Photography, beautifully complemented the mocha mousse drapery—Pantone’s Color of the Year—creating a cozy, inviting ambiance that serves as the perfect inspo for the on-trend bride.
Rose-themed invitation suite
Rose-themed invitations from Paper Palette in a light pink complete with a statement floral watercolor envelope insert set the stage for the event. Soft pink bows and a custom gold wax seal added romantic details to the suite.
Sculptural ceremony setting
Adding to the editorial’s sculptural theme were the Theo chairs—curved cane pieces that harmonized with the organic shapes throughout the setting. Every element, from the candlelight to the furniture, played into the theme of graceful movement and elegance.

Styling serpentine tablescapes
The serpentine tablescape mimicked the cascading fabrics enveloping the space. Instead of traditional florals, the table was adorned with chunky hand-poured candles by Bare and Co., each flickering flame adding warmth and intimacy to the event. Draped linen layers brought depth and texture, enhancing the soft, romantic aesthetic.
Romantic rose-colored cake
A true statement piece of this editorial was the rose-colored cake by Fancy that Cake, adorned with delicate sugar florals and silk-like ribbons. Placed on a rustic pedestal, it acted as a nod to classic romance while embracing a fresh, modern perspective.
Create your own dreamy rose wedding in 4 steps
1. Skip traditional florals and opt for sculptural decor like cascading linens, sculpted candles, and unique textural accents.
2. Flowing fabrics in your gown, veil, or table settings add movement and romance, while warm tones like blush, mocha mousse, and candlelit amber create an intimate glow.
3. Curved, organic furniture softens the space, complementing the fluidity of your design.
4. Bold statement details—whether a sculptural cake, a dramatic veil, or artful candle arrangements—bring the vision to life. Rose Reverie isn’t just a style; it’s a modern, poetic take on wedding design, where softness, texture, and sculptural beauty create an unforgettable celebration.
