Flirty baby blue and blush pink dominated this luxe Nashville wedding
Alyssa and Jared got to know each other during slow shifts while working at their favorite bar at the University of Illinois. They dated throughout their undergrad years and maintained a long-distance relationship after graduation. Despite the distance, they made the most of their time together, planning fun trips to Nashville. Jared proposed to Alyssa on a trip to Chicago, presenting the ring privately in a small garden over drinks at a cozy bar. After the proposal, he surprised her with an engagement party on the river, surrounded by close friends and family. Captured by Kara Warren Photography, Alyssa and Jared’s wedding day was nothing short of captivating, planned with the help of Vision in White Events and set against the backdrop of The Hermitage Hotel - an iconic Nashville destination that felt lavishly vintage and elegantly exclusive.

Grand ceremony space = minimalist decor
The couple opted for a church wedding at Cathedral of the Incarnation that was as grand as the reception venue. Because of the design of the church's interior, they chose to otherwise keep the decor very minimalistic so that the beauty of the church took center stage.

Color palette: flirty baby blue & blush pink

Intimate sweetheart table style
The couple appreciated the privacy of their sweetheart table with florals by Foxglove & Heather, joining guests on the dance floor when the time felt right.
Custom-embroidered place settings
Alyssa spent time before the big day personally embroidering each guest’s name on ribbons, which served as place cards. Though time-consuming, she felt it was a heartfelt and personal acknowledgment of each guest’s presence. Moved by their connection with their officiant, Deacon Pete, they also offered guests his homemade hot sauces as take-home gifts.
