Blue & white fall wedding at Cape Cod’s newest wedding venue, Dune
Jenna and Joe met in high school and spent every summer down the Cape together, so it only felt fitting that their engagement happened in this same place. Joe proposed at a private bridge that they used to pass all the time growing up, and that has now become a bit of a tradition for couples wanting to get engaged on the Cape! When they began planning their wedding, both Jenna and Joe knew they wanted it to feel light, airy, and very natural - like a perfect Cape Cod summer day. Captured by Meghan Lynch Photography, they leaned into a coastal and beachy vibe that incorporated soft colors of the ocean, sand, and surrounding trees. Everything at their wedding hosted at Wychmere Beach Club reflected the beauty of the Cape.
Mix-and-match: invitation fonts
Invitations by Fete Collection were timeless in black and white with varieties of contemporary typewriter and classic cursive fonts.
Featured designer: Jenny Yoo
Jenna wore the Gracelyn gown by Jenny Yoo, and it was everything she had envisioned—classic, timeless, and romantic. The strapless A-line silhouette featured a scoop neckline with subtle draping across the bodice. The full skirt and covered buttons down the back added just the right amount of bridal elegance while still feeling effortless and light—perfect for the coastal setting.
Bridesmaid dresses: moss
The bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses from Show Me Your MuMu in the shade "Moss." The dresses were made from a fluid satin, and each bridesmaid chose a different style that suited her best.
Groomsmen: classic black-tie
The groomsmen wore classic black tuxes.
Blue and white hydrangea arch
Jenna and Joe exchanged personal vows during their ceremony, which took place on the rooftop of Wychmere Beach Club overlooking the water. The flowers by Botanique of Cape Cod were classic and romantic, and reminiscent of the stunning coastal landscape with a natural Cape Cod vibe. Designs included the most premium local blooms and soft organic movement. Hydrangeas were a key flower, paired with crisp white and soft blue summer flowers including ranunculus, snapdragons, garden roses, dahlias, delphinium, and light greenery.

Cocktail hour menu inspo
Cocktail hour featured an incredible mix of butler-passed hors d'oeuvres like burrata crostini, quinoa arancini, blackened jumbo shrimp, and hot honey chicken bites. Wychmere Beach Club also offered crowd favorites like angus beef sliders and Mediterranean lamb lollipops. Guests could help themselves to display stations filled with sushi, grilled flatbreads, and a classic Cape Cod spread that truly celebrated local flavors including mini lobster rolls, clam chowder shooters, and fish & chip boats.
Favors: custom matchbooks
Custom matchbooks were printed with the couple's initials and the date of the wedding, which guests could take home. It was such a sweet and simple keepsake that tied in with the vibe of the night.
Oyster shell seating chart
The seating chart from Boston Backdrops was one of the newlyweds' favorite details! Each guest’s name was written on a backdrop surrounded by oyster shells, and the display read “It’s About Shucking Time.” It was such a fun nod to Cape Cod and added a playful, personalized touch to the day.
On trend: moss green
Moss green satin napkins were placed at each setting to tie in with the color scheme and add a pop of elegance to the table. It helped pull together the natural tones of the florals and place settings.
Dinner menu inspo
For dinner, guests chose from three entrée options: a seared petite filet mignon, miso-glazed halibut, or a mushroom Bolognese for the couple's vegetarian friends.
Personalized first dance options
For the first dance, Jenna and Joe chose “One Man Band,” which felt so personal to them and the story they’d shared over the years. Their favorite part of the night, however, was when the Wilson Stevens Bands played their favorite Queen songs, "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Fat Bottom Girls."
Dessert inspo: sundae bar
Dessert was a sundae bar by Sundae School Ice Cream which was a nostalgic and fun touch to the event. They also offered a milk & cookies dessert at each table that was created with a layered dish of fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and "milk" frosting.
On trend: vintage heart-shaped cake
The newlyweds cut into a small red velvet heart-shaped cake decorated with cream cheese frosting and the words, "Just Married," piped on top. It had a fun, vintage feel, and it was a private moment just for the bride and groom to share together.
Late-night snack & a bonfire on the beach
Later in the evening, the bride and groom offered a late-night snack station with popcorn and ended the night on the beach with a bonfire and s’mores table for guests. It was the perfect way to wrap up a Cape Cod celebration!
