Ethereal wedding in Bali that felt like walking onto a movie set
Wedding colors have always been a way for couples to set the tone of their celebration - think soft white for romance, bold black for drama, and neutrals for timeless elegance. But every so often, a couple decides to break the mold and add a burst of personality that makes the entire day unforgettable. Daniel and Charlotte’s wedding at Ayana Bali did exactly that! Showing up with her iconic pink hair, Charlotte was a showstopper in every sense. She radiated fun, grace, and a gentle presence that brought the entire celebration at Ayana Resort - planned with the help of Designmill and Rufous Events, and photographed by AXIOO Bali - to life!
On trend: getting-ready decor
Bride Charlotte got ready for the day surrounded by whimsical pink heart balloons and her bridesmaids in sweet pink pajama sets.
Traditional Chinese tea ceremony
The day honored tradition through a Chinese tea ceremony. The bride opted for an intricately embroidered qipao, with gold and blue phoenix and dragon motifs. Tassel details gave the look graceful movement, while ornate silver headpieces added a regal touch. Daniel complemented her in a black and gold embroidered ensemble featuring a powerful dragon motif, a striking balance between heritage and personality.
Bridal style: beaded shimmering bodice
For their marriage ceremony, Charlotte wore a dazzling strapless gown adorned with intricate beadwork that caught the light with every movement. The bodice shimmered with delicate embellishments while the skirt was finished with whimsical feathered details. With her pink waves swept into a chic updo and a glowing makeup look, she embodied sophistication with a twist of personality.
Blush-tone bridesmaids
The bridesmaids looked radiant in blush tones that harmonized with the dreamy floral arch.
The groomsmen: Classic black-tie style
Daniel and his groomsmen balanced the scene in sharp black and white. Together, the wedding party was radiant in their modern and chic ensembles.

Advice from AXIOO Bali
"We love seeing couples bring their own style into the celebration. The goal isn’t to create the most perfect wedding, but the most perfectly you wedding. When couples lean into their personal taste, the aesthetic naturally follows. That’s when the magic becomes instantly palpable through our lenses. The only thing left is to be present, relax, and truly enjoy the day.”
