Fashion-Forward Boho Wedding In The Tuscan Hills

Black, white, and green–color palettes don't get more timeless than that. But this boho-inspired wedding is far from traditional thanks to a few fun fashion choices. Bride, Alexandra opted for a showstopping chiffon ball gown with off-the-shoulder lace sleeves and a matching illusion bodice. She ditched the veil and opted for a killer train instead (LOVE!). The bridesmaids slayed in white column dresses with a cute organza ruffle bodice and a spicy thigh-high slit.

A FAIRYTALE VENUE

The most romantic part of a beautiful wedding is two people proclaiming their love and committing to each other for life. That’s exactly how Australian couple Alexandra & Jarryd felt when they decided to travel to the stunning and romantic city of Florence in Tuscany, Italy to tie the knot together with their closest family and friends. The Tuscan Wedding helped the couple plan every detail of the wedding, which came together perfectly. The bride and groom wed in the garden in front of the stone fortress that stands above the Villa Le Fontanelle, under the sun of a typical Italian summer day.

GETTING READY

Just a couple hours earlier, Alexandra & Jarryd separated as single people for the last time to get ready for the big day. Over in the tower, Jarryd dressed in a black suit and white shirt. On his lapel was an elegant boutonniere arranged with a white rose.

Across the way, in the Orangerie bridal suite, with the help of her bridesmaids, Alexandra was getting ready. She slipped into a gorgeous classic white gown with a sweetheart neckline and flowing off-the-shoulder sleeves, all covered in lace; a perfect style for a rustic-chic Tuscan wedding. She perfected this gorgeous look with soft makeup paired with a romantic low bun with loose curls. The beautiful bridal party looked amazing in their elegant white dresses.

A MEANINGFUL CEREMONY

Later in the afternoon, the handsome groom made his way along the aisle where he awaited his bride under the fortress. Soon she joined him, emerging from the chapel doors carrying a large bouquet of white roses arranged by Flowers Living. In the garden with them stood the officiant, a string quartet, and two beautiful bouquets of large white hydrangeas placed on stone urns.

The officiant explained that their marriage will be like a knot; the more pressure that is applied to their life together, the stronger their bond will become. A truly profound and unique expression of their love.

A SWEET FINISH

After the ceremony, The Tuscan Wedding organized the most magical reception with an amazing runner of magnolia leaves draping over the edge and shimmering candles under a tent of fairy lights. The guests had the perfect view as they were able to overlook the entire enchanting city right from their lovely seats! A delicious three-course meal, plus dessert, was provided by the amazing Galateo Ricevimenti. For dessert, guests were given a traditional Italian Millefeuille with mixed berries, as well as a slice of the cream-filled wedding cake with mixed berries.

Wedding Music And Lights created the most dazzling design and left everyone in awe! The sparkling lights perfectly set the stage for DJ Leo to keep guests dancing the night away with his amazing music selection. Bayleigh Delago and Waterfall Visuals captured this fairytale of an evening in the most magical way–so beautifully done! Alexandra and Jarryd are truly made for one another and our team is so fortunate to have met them and helped to arrange the wedding of their dreams!
