This wedding is overflowing with whimsical yet timeless wedding inspiration. Married in a glass chapel, their ceremony aisle not only had beautiful lighting but a breathtaking view of the woods that surrounded the venue. Add to that the flowers inside made the venue feel like an absolute fairytale! They also had a unique and fun menu for their wedding reception inspired by their love for breakfast food!

Fairytale Wedding in a Glass Chapel

I was in my senior year of college when I first started to get to know Landon. We had breakfast for dinner on our first date, and we quickly bonded over our two love languages - quality time and breakfast food. Naturally, we had to have a breakfast menu at our wedding!

After the ceremony, we snuck away for a private dinner, and it was so sweet to reflect on our journey from our first date up to that point. The vendors for our wedding truly made the day so special. Nina at Southern Belle Rose in Nashville, TN created by wedding dress. Essentially, she took my inspiration from different gowns and put them together into a single dress. She listened to what I wanted instead of telling me what she thought I wanted to hear, and I am so thankful I found her.

We got married at Mallard's Croft in Byhalia, MS. The venue is a beautiful glass chapel tucked away in the woods. I knew it was the perfect place for us to get married, because the glass windows provided the effect of being outside while also giving peace of mind about any changes in the weather on the day of our wedding. Our floral designer, Joanna with Snapdragon Floral in Memphis, TN, brought a touch of whimsy on our wedding day. She truly made the venue feel like a fairy-tale. The array of flowers was bright and playful while also being classy and timeless. I will never forget the joy I felt when I walked downstairs to see my vision come to life after Joanna and her team worked their magic in the venue. We also had a harpist, Ruthie Jo Wise, who made the ceremony feel dreamy. Her talent is simply gorgeous, and it was such a blessing to have her be a part of our ceremony.

The reception was probably our favorite part of the day, because we had the opportunity to spend time with our guests. It was so sweet having all of my people and all of Landon’s people in the same room. I don’t know if we will ever get an opportunity like that again, and it was just a blessing to be in the presence of the people we love most. How Sweet It Is by Tim made our wedding cakes. Tim is just the best, and his flavors are amazing!
