Modern greenhouse wedding with a tropical color palette
Forget ballrooms; greenhouses (conservatories, arboretums, whatever you want to call them) are the most perfect wedding venue there is. We said what we said. But seriously, think about it! You get all the perks of natural lighting without having to worry about the weather; it is full of plants, flowers, etc., so you get a literal venue FULL of foliage but only have to pay for ceremony arrangements and centerpieces. And if all that wasn't enough to convince you, these gorgeous photos by Kenz and Nick Photo of this gorgeous Chicago wedding should do the trick, so keep scrolling...

the vision: tropical greenhouse
The couple was married in the courthouse 5 years ago. After COVID cleared up, they decided to host an epic celebration with 100 of their family and friends. With the help of Love Story Wedding Events and Flowerchild Chicago, they spared no expense to create a tropical wonderland and provide their guests with an unforgettable experience. From the curated menus to the hand-picked bar items, everything was thought out. The bride's family flew in from Macedonia and London. The bride designed all the stationery herself.
the fashion
Eva stunned in an elegant long-sleeve silk gown by Katherine Tash with a dramatic asymmetrical neckline. The groom also brought it with his wedding ensemble in a custom white dinner jacket, black pants by Daniel George, and Christian Louboutin loafers.
an audio guest book
Having to wait five years before celebrating their marriage with family and friends made documenting the occasion all the more meaningful. In lieu of a traditional guestbook, the couple decided on an audio guestbook where their friends and family could leave them voicemails that they can listen to for years to come.
the cake
Tying in beautifully to the modern, tropical theme, the bride and groom cut into a sculpted two-tiered wedding cake by ECBG Cake Studio with fresh calla lily decorations.
