If you are looking for a romantic wedding day theme that is equal parts sweet and chic with a splash of rebellious color thrown in, this next couples wedding day was exactly that! Located at the fabulous Rancho Valencia in San Diego the venue did most of the heavy lifting when it came to decor, but the true stars of the evening were the infectiously in love newlyweds.

From Let's Frolic Together

A gorgeous day, equal parts charming, historic, and tender, this small wedding is not to be missed! There was so much joy and laughter as this beautiful couple said “I do” with only their very closest family and friends, in an intimate and unplugged wedding at Rancho Valencia in San Diego, CA.

The Spanish-style architecture and bright, colorful tile accents and bougainvillea were the perfect backdrops for the bride’s glamorous, backless gown and groom’s sharp grey suit. We adored the coral, pink, and orange hues prominently featured throughout the venue and in the bride’s lush bouquet (though it wasn’t as stunning as her infectious smile).

The heartwarming photo display featuring the couple’s dearly-missed fathers was especially poignant, and shared joyful moments with the bride’s grandparents made our day. The four-string quartet was a perfect delicate touch, and we were absolutely enamored with the gold accented table settings—at each place sat an orange with a golden hand-calligraphed leaf with each guest’s name. It was a darling, perfect classic day for these two!
