From beach to ballroom – a luxury destination wedding in Florida
Vishu and Ian's destination wedding at the St. Regis Hotel Longboat Key in Florida was a masterclass in breathtaking attention to detail and design. Having the honor of being the first multi-day, culturally rich Indian celebration hosted at this prestigious location, you can imagine that each and every detail was executed to perfection, and the fashion wasn't far behind! Their wedding was a true celebration of love, family, and culture, blending Indian and Western traditions thanks to the help of Rohita Pabla Wedding & Events, all captured by P.Taufiq Photography.
A change of plans 20 days out
Vishu first connected with Rohita Pabla Wedding & Events last year when they planned her brother’s multi-day destination wedding in London, hosted at the Rosewood and Mandarin Oriental hotels. She was impressed by their meticulous planning, attention to detail, and ability to flawlessly execute a complex, high-profile event. When she faced challenges with her original planner in the US, Vishu reached out to Rohita just 20 days before her big day, trusting them to take over and coordinate her wedding. Despite the tight timeline, Rohita stepped in to finalize details with her wedding suppliers and venue, flying their team from London to Florida. Rohita shared, "It was an absolute honor to have been asked to take over and ensure her wedding planning and day were perfect."
The welcome party
The wedding welcome party was held on the beach with an elegant, modern aesthetic that set the tone for the rest of the weekend.

The ceremony(s)
The Indian wedding ceremony took place with the stunning waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the white sands of one of the country's best beaches as the backdrop.
Traditional yellow details
Their second ceremony took place on one of the venue's patios and featured plenty of traditional yellow accents.
The reception
The luxurious, traditional beach ceremonies were followed by a sophisticated black-and-white themed reception in the grand ballroom of the newly unveiled St. Regis in Longboat, Florida.
Red for the reception
For the formal reception, Vishu opted for a stunning red sequin set with a dramatic and detailed cape that made quite a statement when the couple shared their first dance on a fog-covered dance floor.
On trend: asymmetrical cake accents
Vishu and Ian cut into a three-tier white cake accented with an asymmetrical waterfall of white and pink roses that stood out against the moody black and gold backdrop of the reception.
The ultimate luxury exit car
For their grand wedding exit, the newlyweds opted for the most luxurious of exit cars that basically made Ian look like a James Bond in the making!
