Quiet luxury wedding inspo with an equestrian twist
Nothing says quiet luxury like a country estate–and horses! That was the inspo for this dreamy equestrian-coded wedding shoot. But what we love about this one, especially, is how this team incorporated these pastoral elements while keeping the overall design elegant instead of leaning all the way into the rustic. Keep scrolling to see exactly what we mean, thanks to these moody photos by Ashley Logan Photography.

the vibe: quiet luxury at a summer estate
Set against the sun-soaked foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, at The Lodge on Brier Creek in Roaring River, NC, this styled shoot merges timeless elegance with an editorial, fashion-forward twist. Inspired by the quiet luxury of a summer estate and the effortless charm of high-country living, every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a romantic, refined visual story—with just the right touch of equestrian influence.
A warm palette of buttery yellows, champagne tones, whites, and natural greens gave the entire shoot a glowing, golden-hour aesthetic. The ceremony site was framed by twin floral towers from Bella's Blooms by Dish Garden ArT, LLC, offering a sophisticated focal point that felt grand yet grounded in nature. Just steps away, a custom drapery installation created a visually stunning moment—a current trend that added softness, movement, and editorial impact to both portraits and candid frames.
the fashion
Fashion choices were clean, tailored, and elevated. The bride wore a minimalist gown paired with butter-yellow heels for a playful pop of color, while her hair was styled in a sleek, modern French twist. Her glowing, bronzed makeup enhanced the natural setting. The groom wore a forest green suit with champagne accents and a vintage gold brooch—a statement piece that stood out beautifully against the soft, sunlit tones of the setting.
the cake
Playing into this season's hottest color, they chose butter yellow for the cake. This three-tiered confection, with its textured buttercream and live flower decorations, was the epitome of laid-back elegance and sophistication–delectable without trying too hard.
how to get the look
To recreate this look, couples should focus on layering textures, incorporating fine details like colored shoes or heirloom accessories, and considering trend-forward design elements like drapery or floral structures to anchor the space. This shoot is a reminder that timeless style and modern editorial energy can coexist beautifully—especially when set beneath the golden skies of North Carolina.
