the vibe: funky, fun, and full of joy
Designed by Jillian Marie Events, Amanda and Jack's wedding seamlessly blended the natural beauty of the snowy Rocky Mountains with the intimate ambiance of a speakeasy-style reception. Their choice of Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, Colorado, provided a breathtaking backdrop for their vows, while the reception's unique atmosphere reflected their personal style with funky florals and bright colors. The couple's love for the outdoors and close-knit friendships was evident throughout the celebration, making it a heartfelt and memorable event.
This wedding was all about texture, romance, and a touch of the unexpected. The couple wanted florals that felt sculptural and organic. With the help of The Flower Lover Club, their vision came to life with warm cognac anthuriums, cascading green amaranthus, and moody barista roses. For the chartreuse tablescapes, Amanda was inspired by the idea of something non-traditional yet elevated. Pearled fruit added an unexpected texture that brought it all together beautifully. As for the ceremony itself, it was heartfelt and simple—just the two of them surrounded by their closest friends and family, with the Rocky Mountains as their witness.
getting ready
As she lounged in the bridal suite, Amanda sipped a mimosa as the glam team worked their magic. Then, with some help from her mom, she slipped into her gorgeous gown and pleated off-the-shoulder sleeves for the ceremony.
the fashion
Amanda and Jack are one of those couples who instantly make you feel like part of their friend group. Their wedding was full of warmth, laughter, and so much personality—from Amanda's jaw-dropping New White "Haven" gown from Lovely Bride in Denver to their packed dance floor that didn't let up all night. What made this wedding especially memorable was how effortlessly the couple infused their style into every detail while still keeping the day grounded in love and connection. The bridesmaid dresses were a mix of colors and designers, giving each friend a chance to shine: Grace wore a dark purple gown from Lulu's, Kylee's green dress was from Peppermayo, Sarah's chocolate brown number was from Shona Joy, Cameron's pink dress came from L'Idée, and Allie wore a floral purple gown from Anthropologie.
the drinks
The Reilands served up two signature cocktails that perfectly reflected their taste: an Old Fashioned for him and a Moscow Mule for her. The drinks added a fun, personalized touch to the evening and kept guests refreshed throughout the celebration.
diy signage
Amanda dove into DIY projects, designing and cutting the bar signage, welcome sign, and seating chart at home with her Cricut. Every element felt like them: thoughtful, creative, and full of heart.
the cake
Amanda's cake inspiration came straight from Pinterest searches for "non-traditional wedding cakes." She fell in love with the idea of a long, slightly messy sheet cake instead of the classic tiered look. It was the perfect reflection of their laid-back but refined style.
