Colorado Mountain Wedding: Krystal & Brent’s Stunning Celebration

Bride in lace dress and veil looks down thoughtfully

Who wants to get married on top of the world?! Krystal and Brent did, and boy did it turn out amazing! Their sky-high ceremony took place on the Beaver Creek Wedding Deck in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and we must say it is one of the coolest places to say “I do”.

Their top of the world ceremony was followed up by a romantic reception at Donovan Pavilion, and featured chic greenery centerpieces, a bit of sparkle, and not one, but three wedding cakes, one of which is topped with bacon! Check it all out below from Shea McGrath Photography and grab a closer look in the full gallery after.

Ceremony with a view

From Shea McGrath Photography: Krystal and Brent’s wedding was full of so much love, emotion, and joy. On the most perfect day in June, Krystal and Brent had their ceremony at the Beaver Creek Wedding Deck in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Their reception was held at the Donovan Pavilion in Vail, Colorado. They got ready on the resort and had a “no look first look”, where Brent wore an eye mask so he didn’t see Krystal until the ceremony. Everyone took the ski lift up to the top of the mountain at the resort where the wedding deck is, which made for a stunning backdrop for all of their out of town guests!

During their ceremony they created a time capsule box. They put letters to each other and a bottle of wine in the box, and nailed it shut using a hammer that belonged to Brent’s dad, who passed away last year. It was an emotional and beautiful ceremony full of tears and laughter, surrounded by their closest loved ones.
