Romantic pastel wedding in florence inspired by the tuscan sunset
When the sun hits the Tuscan hills at just the right angle, they give off a golden glow, and such was the backdrop for this elegant garden wedding in Florence. Framed by one of the most stunning abstract floral arches we've ever seen Danielle and Mike tied the knot in front of their family and friends. Then, they proceeded to treat their guests to a poolside apéritif and a dinner al fresco, that looked like a feast straight out of a fairytale. the vision: tuscan sunset
We felt like we were living in a dream as the sun began to set over the Tuscan hills. Designed by Glam Events in Tuscany, the soft blush linens, the delicate florals by Flowers Living, and the golden accents created such a romantic and elegant atmosphere that it was almost surreal. Standing there, surrounded by so much beauty, I felt completely overwhelmed in the best way possible—like every detail came together perfectly. When the chandeliers lit up, it was pure magic. It was as if the entire space transformed into an enchanted setting under the stars, and I couldn’t help but take it all in and think, “This is exactly how I dreamed it would be." Each and every one of our guests said, "your wedding was just magical." Watching them laugh, dance, and soak in the atmosphere made it all the more magical. For us, it was the kind of moment where time stood still—one we will cherish forever.
the destination: florence
My love for Tuscany began during my college years when I studied Italian art in Florence. The city blew me away with its culture, beauty, and warmth, and it always held a special place in my heart. When I met my husband, I knew he would fall in love with Florence just as I did. During a trip together, he experienced the charm of Tuscany—the incredible food, breathtaking scenery, and welcoming people. It was on that trip we realized how amazing it would be to get married there and the rest was history! We explored several wedding venues close to Florence and landed on the beautiful Tenuta Corbinaia.
For the ceremony, the Sphinx Garden provided a striking backdrop, with its beautifully manicured greenery and arches framing the moment perfectly. It was the kind of setting that made every word exchanged, every vow spoken, feel timeless. The combination of rolling green hills and the villa’s luxurious charm created an atmosphere of romance and sophistication, ideal for such an important day. Aside from its beauty, the owner of Tenuta made us feel like we were part of their family. Her warmth, hospitality, and dedication gave us complete peace of mind, and everything ran seamlessly on the day of the wedding—just as they had promised.
getting ready
In the estate's luxurious bridal suite, Danielle lounged in a floor-length lace robe and sipped champagne as she prepped for the big day. Then, she met up with her ladies in the greenhouse for a quick toast before they slipped into their ensembles.
a poolside apéritif
The apéritif by the infinity pool, with its stunning views over the Tuscan hills, was truly an unforgettable start to the celebration. As guests enjoyed the breathtaking scenery, they were able to savor the flavors of Tuscany in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere.
the food
Guido Guidi’s service and cuisine were truly exceptional. From the passed aperitivo, featuring the signature Fiorito Mojito cocktail, to the handmade pasta and perfectly cooked steak, every dish was crafted to perfection. Their attention to detail and seamless service elevated the dining experience, leaving both us and our guests in awe. The combination of exquisite flavors and unparalleled professionalism made Guido Guidi’s catering unmatched and unforgettable.
As we were enjoying our meal, we looked at each other, held hands, and smiled, soaking it all in. It was one of those moments where everything felt perfect—the love, the beauty, the connection. Seeing our guests genuinely enjoying themselves, surrounded by the elegance and warmth of the evening, made it all even more special. It was a celebration not just of our love but of the people who mean the most to us, and that’s something we’ll cherish forever.
