the vision: autumnal renaissance beauty
Jamie and Mike’s wedding at the breathtaking Villa Corsini in Florence was a true masterpiece of opulence and romance. The grand entrance to the villa was magnificently decorated by Fabiana Vernetti with lush autumnal florals, creating a stunning first impression. As guests walked towards the historic Camin Hall, where the ceremony took place, they were immersed in an enchanting atmosphere, surrounded by exquisite floral arrangements and the melodic sounds of a live violinist. The reception, set under frescoed ceilings, featured candlelit tablescapes, rich seasonal hues, and gold accents, making for an unforgettable evening filled with warmth, elegance, and timeless beauty.
the flowers
Designed by Stiatti Fiori, fresh seasonal blooms in shades of burgundy, coral, and blush adorned the table while branches of dry fall leaves and grapes were sprinkled in for effect. We love how creative couples, florists, and planners are getting with using local produce as decor! Imagine repurposing the grapes to decorate a cheese bar at the end of the night, where guests can create their own late-night snack.
the fashion
For the big day, Jamie wore a chic, sculptural strapless ball gown. To match the grandeur of the villa, she paired the gown with a cathedral-length veil that she tucked into a simple yet elegant updo. Mike and his groomsmen perfectly complemented the timeless aesthetic of the day in classic black tuxedos.
a champagne tower
In the grand hall, crystal coupe glasses were stacked on top of one another, creating an enchanting champagne tower. Such a magical place to hold the cocktail hour 😍!
the cake
For their timeless wedding, the couple chose a cake that was actually quite modern. The three-tiered confection was asymmetrically stacked, decorated in sugar flowers, and designed to resemble a fusion of red and white clay. The earthen textures and tones played beautifully into the wedding design as a whole.
