Romantic Backyard Wedding Covered in Flowers

Newlyweds stroll hand in hand on their wedding day

High school sweethearts Callie and Billy held their gorgeous wedding in their families backyard and as if that wasn't sweet enough, it was the same spot the brides parents had been married just 30 years earlier on the coast of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Cue the awws!

The brides vision came to life with hand-crafted details throughout and gorgeous florals just about everywhere! Shout out to Sweet Annie Floral Design for doing such an amazing job! See the rest of this day below photographed by Analog Wedding, and in the full gallery after.

From Analog Wedding: Callie and Billy both grew up in Newburyport. They are high school sweethearts (cue the awws). They have been together for over 10 years! Their wedding venue was an obvious choice as a majority of Callie’s family has gotten married at their Aunt and Uncle’s home. One of the best parts was that a majority of Callie’s family all lives essentially on the same road! The wedding truly had the most picturesque backdrop; the real beauty of the event was how much love surrounded Callie and Billy on the day.

Callie’s vision for the day, as she described it, was for her wedding day to be covered in flowers. Her vision became a reality as Katie, from Sweet Annie Floral Design, enveloped the ceremony and reception with flowers. Her arch was breathtaking with white hydrangeas and blush roses. Her floral dreams came true as the reception was dripping in florals.

perfect details

Guests were guided to their seats by stunning acrylic signage where the tables were a mix of farm tables and rounds draped in mauve satin linen. The farm tables were decorated with multiple small arrangements in unique vases and flowers, which were accompanied by hurricane tapered candles running the length of the tables. The roundtables had overflowing centerpieces that mimicked Callie’s bouquet.

Handcrafted design

Almost every detail was hand-crafted by the bride or a family member, bringing so many personal touches to the day. Her mother designed and built a photo wall for the guests. The bride’s cousin was the calligrapher of all the delicate and acrylic signage. The bride had her invitations and menus custom made with the help of Simply B. They created the most beautiful design accented with flowers that completed the bride’s vision of her day smothered in flowers.
