Southwestern Boho Fusion Wedding In Texas

Newlyweds share a kiss on their wedding day, beautiful dress

When the bride's family owns a tequila company, you know this wedding is going to be a good time. They combined southwestern elements with rustic touches and a few boho accents to create the perfect fusion. Rich terracotta, peach, red, and blush pop beautifully against deep indigo in this southwestern-boho wedding where the color palette is so spot on, it seems like even the guests got the memo. The bride's white lace gown and the groom's dark indigo suit added just the right amount of formality to this fun Texas wedding.

Epoch Co+ helped this couple bring their vision to life at The Gin At Hidalgo Falls. The florals by Urban Rubbish played such a key role in communicating the theme and the color palette of the wedding. You can almost feel the warmth of the Texas sun in these gorgeous photos by The Philgreens who also got every special moment on video. Check out the full gallery to see more from this stunning wedding and keep scrolling to hear more from Epoch Co+ on how everything came together.

YOU CAN'T BEAT TEQUILA-BASED FAVORS

This was our southwestern-boho vibe wedding with rust and indigo blue hues at a restored venue in Texas. The bride's family is the Orendain tequila family, so the favors that doubled as welcome cocktails and escort cards were handmade shot glasses from Mexico with Orendain tequila that guests could take as a shot with or use it in a margarita on the rocks "shot".

A GORGEOUS FUSION

Elegant barn wedding reception with long table setup

Tyler and Kristin love the southwest vibe with a modern flair, it’s how their home is decorated and meshes their two individual styles the best. With that comes a mix of cool tones and warm earthy tones that helped inspire the color palette of the day. For colors, we focused on rust, terra cotta, and indigo blue. For the ceremony, we used a deep blue rug, custom macrame backdrop, and potted cacti and succulents to bring the southwest vibes to the vast Texas field backdrop.

FAMILY STYLE

The reception space was designed around the statement head table where the newlyweds enjoyed their first meal as husband and wife alongside their wedding party and immediate family. A batik indigo runner adorned the table with tall gold stands of gorgeous blooms in shades of terra cotta, peach, rust, blush and neutrals, and smaller potted cacti and succulents. Guest tables carried the color palette by alternating orange linens, blue goblets, and blue dip-dyed napkins with vivid blue tables, orange goblets, and peachy dip-dyed napkins. After smoke-bomb sunset images, toasts, and the formalities concluded, guests danced the night away to Shadow Canyon Country in true Texas country style.
