their love story
Emily and Harsh tied the knot on May 25, 2025, at the romantic Morgan Estate in Temecula, CA, surrounded by 100 of their closest family and friends. Their love story began at San Diego State University in 2017 after meeting through a mutual friend at a charity event, and Harsh proposed years later with a dreamy La Jolla scavenger hunt that ended at the tidepools.
the vision: pastel garden party
Designed by Sierra James Events, the ceremony overlooked Temecula’s rolling hills, perfectly complementing Emily’s all-pink romantic theme—from the florals and the signage to custom DIY details she created herself. The pastel garden party dress code brought the vision to life.
the venue: morgan estate
I always knew I wanted to get married at a vineyard. When we first started venue searching, we focused primarily on venues in Temecula. We live in Southern California, and we wanted to get married nearby. We also looked at a venue in Malibu and another in Redlands. A lot of the other venues we didn't care for because they were also restaurants, and they didn't close early for weddings. We wanted somewhere private. I was looking for a ceremony with jaw-dropping views. If it didn't have that, we would pass. Morgan Estate was actually the final venue we toured, and we knew it was the one almost immediately. The ceremony space was the prettiest I've ever seen, and I was blown away by the views. They also took us into the house and showed what it would be like on our wedding day with the doors opening, and when he did that, I had chills and knew this was our venue. I loved everything about it, from the ceremony and reception spaces to the bridal suite. I also loved that they included chairs, tables, linens, and more. Also, their staff is incredibly kind and caring, and they are a family-owned business that cares about all their couples. I loved working with them and would highly recommend getting married here to any future couples!
the flowers
I always wanted pink flowers! I'm a pink girl for life, and the second we got engaged, I had pictured my perfect pink wedding with all the pink flowers. I used Pinterest a lot for figuring out what flowers we wanted. We actually went the faux floral route after realizing the amount of flowers I wanted would not work with our budget. We discovered Flowever Decors at a bridal expo and got to feel and see the faux flowers in person, and they felt absolutely real. I had a call with the owner to see samples, and she truly brought my vision to life. I also have a bridal bouquet that will never die and is decor in my house now!
getting ready
The wedding morning was filled with laughter and music as the bridal party got ready together at their Airbnb. Emily surprised her bridesmaids with gifts and pajamas, while her longtime hairstylist flew in from Illinois to style everyone’s hair. Her bridesmaids handled their own makeup, and her friend did hers for a personal touch. One of the most emotional moments was Emily’s first look with her father, where she gifted him a tie clip and handkerchief made from her late mom’s wedding dress.
the fashion
I bought my dress at Luv Bridal Westminster in Orange County. The dress is designed by Madi Lane Bridal in the style Jaden. My seamstress, Olga, at Olga Godoy Bridal Alterations in Chula Vista, added custom sleeves with extra fabric. She also added pockets!
the escort display
We found the sign on Facebook Marketplace last year! It originally had white vinyl lettering on it with the previous couple's guest names on it, so my husband scraped all of the letters off of it one by one. Then, instead of doing vinyl lettering, I opted to do the cards and wax seals. It made it easier for our guests to read, and I loved how it turned out! I also DIYed the florals that were in the baskets myself. When we bought it off Facebook Marketplace, the baskets were empty, so I purchased flowers from Hobby Lobby and Michaels and made the arrangements myself.
