Their Love Story

What began as a chance office encounter in January 2023 quickly became the start of Mark's and Laura’s story. A year later, during an Eid getaway to the Seychelles, Mark proposed. Dreaming of a destination wedding somewhere deeply personal, Spain felt like fate—Mark having lived and studied there and Laura having grown up visiting almost every year.

The Vision: Neo-Mudéjar Meets Modern Simplicity

10

With help from Kiveli Weddings, they celebrated their love with 105 guests at Villa Luisa, a historic private house from 1929 in the heart of Seville, once home to the city’s literary and artistic elite. Inspired by the villa’s Neo-Mudéjar architecture, the design embraced a timeless palette of green and white, allowing the venue’s beauty to shine. White and green hydrangeas were the only florals LEBOYERD used throughout the celebration, symbolizing balance, gratitude, and spiritual understanding. The garden ceremony took place in front of the iconic Neo-Nazarí temple, with wrought-iron white heart-shaped chairs, palm trees as a visual motif connecting Seville and Dubai, white fans for the summer heat, and a joyful petal toss as the couple exited.

Dinner was set across long communal tables under pergolas and the stars, lit by timeless chandeliers. Elegant tablescapes included white porcelain Spanish plates, silver cutlery, personalized monogram napkins, custom butter plates in red calligraphy, and disposable cameras for guests to capture the night.

Getting Ready

In the lavishly appointed bridal suite, Laura lounged with her ladies in matching pajama sets as they took turns having their hair and makeup done. Then they all slipped into their black-tie dresses and helped the bride put the finishing touches on her look.

The Fashion

The bride wore a timeless A-line ballgown by Mary Trufel with a gentle scoop neckline and generous train. At her side, her elegant bridesmaids wore champagne and black satin dresses. The groom was equally charming in a classic black tuxedo. But, we have to say these adorable flower girl dresses, with their dramatic sleeve moment, stole the show!
