These Cool Kids Tied The Knot And Made It Look Effortless

Bride and groom embrace in a field with a scenic mountain backdrop

When this couple started wedding planning, they had one goal in mind: a good time! They put the emphasis on comfort and fun and everything else followed. The groom happens to be an art director, so that definitely helped this effortlessly elegant wedding come together. Armed with a few illustrations and a color palette, they put their trust in their vendors to bring their dream wedding to life. While the venue may be top-notch and these two are dressed to the nines in their designer outfits, there is definitely something low-key and laid back about the entire affair that gives it that definite cool-kid vibe, like the Polaroid wedding cake topper.

When they selected Goodwill Wedding Day as their wedding planner, they knew they were in good hands. Amour Flowers did a beautiful job at incorporating the couple's intricate color palette into the floral arrangements. These stunning photos by Alexander and Marina Santi look more like a styled shoot than a real wedding, but we can vouch for them, they're a real couple, and this was a REAL GOOD TIME! WHAT KIND OF WEDDING DO YOU WANT? A GOOD ONE

When the organizers asked what kind of wedding we wanted, we replied that we wanted a good wedding, like in the movies with a happy ending, where everyone would be comfortable and fun. I didn't want to burden the guests with a strict dress code (the color palette was quite extensive). We incorporated the color scheme into the invitation suite (which, by the way, Zhenya made himself, he works as an art director in an advertising agency and draws beautifully). The design of the cake was concise. Instead of a topper, we used a Polaroid photo from the ceremony. We made temporary tattoos for the guests (the design was also done by Zhenya) dedicated to the wedding day and love. It was very nice that the older generation and our friends put them on their hands and kept them for a few more days without washing them off. There was a lot of live music at the wedding, which was important for us because live sound is always about energy and atmosphere.

FASHION-FORWARD FESTIVITIES

Elegant outdoor event with tables decorated for celebration

Zhenya had a white tuxedo (we decided that it would be more relevant and practical in hot weather), black classic trousers, and black loafers. I had three looks: a transparent cape over a swimsuit for the "morning of the bride", a dress for the ceremony with a veil, and a short dress for dancing. A touching moment for us was a video in which we were congratulated by our relatives and friends who were unable to come due to health reasons and closed borders due to COVID-19. This is the moment when I started crying tears of joy.
