the vibe: understated elegance
Judith and Jacob embraced timeless minimalism with an editorial edge. There was a quiet sophistication in the way the day unfolded from start to finish. Their wedding day was designed by Ashleigh Elizabeth Wedding & Events to feel intimate and meaningful, which is a reflection of who they are: understated, elegant, and effortless. The floral arrangements, by Doris Ione, featured a lush medley of ivory roses, cascading orchids, green hydrangeas, and white filler, creating height, softness, and dimension. The bride's bouquet featured rich, garden-inspired florals in whites and neutrals, allowing texture and shape to speak louder than color. The overall palette was neutral and romantic with subtle hints of blush and sage woven throughout. The orchids brought a modern, structured elegance, while the hydrangeas and filler added fullness and garden-inspired charm. Arranged in tall white pedestal vases, the florals created a dramatic focal point that still felt light, airy, and graceful, which was the perfect complement to the reception’s timeless ambiance.
a legacy lives on
Jacob’s late grandmother was named Judith Doll, which is the very name his bride now carries. The shared name was a coincidental and poignant reminder of love and legacy that spans generations. With their marriage, the name Judith Doll lives on, continuing a legacy held dear by Jacob’s family.
getting ready
Jacob and his men donned their tuxedos with the historic New Orleans skyline as their backdrop. Judith and her ladies, clad in matching pajama sets, lounged in the bridal suite, sipping champagne while they took turns getting their hair and makeup done for the big day.
the fashion
Judith’s look was refined and fashion-forward. She went with a classic, chantilly lace gown and paired it with a detachable lace overlay. This allowed her to have two different looks! The bridesmaids wore structured, strapless, column gowns in a platinum and pastel shade of blue, which felt both modern and timeless. The clean lines and subtle sheen of the fabric gave the dresses a refined, architectural quality, echoing the bride’s minimalist yet classic aesthetic. Jacob wore a timeless black tuxedo with satin lapels and a classic black bow tie, which was a clean, sophisticated look. As a quiet tribute, he also wore a meaningful pin in honor of his late best man, a detail that added deep sentiment to his wedding-day attire.
late-night treats
Guests enjoyed classic New Orleans dishes buffet style. Late-night sliders were passed around after 9:00 pm along with espresso martinis!
the cake
The couple’s wedding cake was a five-tiered design finished in smooth white fondant and adorned with delicate sugar orchids and roses. The clean lines and monochromatic palette made it both striking and timeless, echoing the couple’s elegant, minimalist aesthetic. Set atop a silver pedestal, it felt more like an art installation than a dessert.
the party
Guests donned mirrored disco cowboy hats with LED-lit brims and busted out all of their best moves on the black and white checkerboard dance floor. Between the music and martinis, this group kept the party going all night long!
