Floral Decisions
I had a hard time deciding exactly what kind of flowers I wanted. The ones I decided to order online also ended up getting stuck in a snowstorm and I was originally told that they would not be here in time for the wedding. Luckily, they showed up the day before the wedding in decent condition and we were able to use them.
I used baby's breath for the aisle and hydrangeas for the centerpieces on the table. I ordered eight mixed bouquets and my bridesmaids helped me put together the bouquets
Budgeting, Budgeting, & More Budgeting
The biggest challenge I had to overcome was budgeting and staying organized. We didn't have a wedding planner so it was hard to decide how much to spend on each aspect of the wedding, while also remembering every little thing that we needed to buy.
Cool & Comfy Reception Shoes
Our favorite detail of the wedding were our reception shoes. We wanted fun, comfortable shoes to wear and Julian got a lot of compliments on his flamingo Vans.
