Wedding with a yacht party that made the most of a Los Cabos location
February 27th had always been this bride and groom's day. It was the day they started dating, the day they got engaged on the beach at Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos, the day they eloped at San Francisco City Hall, and now, it was also the day they shared their dream destination wedding with all of their loved ones back at the very same resort where their journey to “forever” began. The bride - also known as wedding planner, Amanda Antonetti Events - designed their destination wedding at Hard Rock Los Cabos, calling it the most meaningful project of her career. The couple wanted it to feel like a true celebration — full of vibrant color, joy, and the warmth of Mexico. From the beachfront ceremony to the high-energy reception under the stars, every detail was a reflection of their story, call captured thanks to Katherine Marchand Weddings.
Invitation inspo: terracotta & pink
Guests were invited to the destination event with arched invitations in a terracotta and pink palette, previewing the desert-inspired palette to come at the wedding itself.
Bougainvillea-inspired welcome party
The week kicked off with the ultimate fiesta: tacos, tequila, and all the bride and groom's favorite people. Picture bold florals, lush pink bougainvillea, and the dreamiest welcome party setup. One of the bride's favorite details? A custom bar sign from Stone and Co. that traveled all the way from Australia just to party with them. they even hired a “tequila girl” and a mariachi band (10/10 recommend!) and served espresso martini shots instead of the usual tequila to keep the energy going all night long.
A yacht party is always a yes
Guests also enjoyed a sunset yacht sail thanks to Cabo Yacht Charters that kept the party going and took advantage of the gorgeous Los Cabos ocean setting.
Pearl-accented robe
On the morning of her ceremony, the bride wore a sheer sleeve, pearl-accented robe to get ready with her bridesmaids.

Bridal style: classic button detailing
The bride wore a stunningly classic off-the-shoulder fitted gown with button detailing al the way down the back.
Ocean-inspired wedding party attire
The groomsmen wore striking deep blue suits with brown leather accessories, while the bridesmaids wore mix and match green dresses ranging from a light olive to sea foam - perfect for the beach setting.
On trend: tequila roses
From the Vienna rattan chairs to the stunning floral palette by Emporio Arte Floral, the ceremony setup was exactly what the bride had dreamed of. The tequila roses, quicksand roses, and scabiosa pods added the perfect touch of desert elegance, blending the beauty of Cabo with their vision for the day.
Ring warming ceremony
The symbolic ceremony was very personal for the couple. They asked guests to unplug and be fully present as they exchanged vows overlooking the beach where they had gotten engaged. The bride and groom included a ring warming ceremony, during which their rings were passed through their wedding party and close family, each offering silent blessings before the newlyweds placed them on each other’s fingers.
Tequila shot seating wall
Guests found their seats thanks to escort card complete with a custom wax seal and the perfect party starter - a tequila shot!
Theme inspo: desert elegance
The desert elegance theme carried through to the reception thanks to toffee roses, off-white elements, hanging rattan lighting, and plenty of gold accents set against the neutral backdrop.
Blue hour string lights
As the night went on from blue hour to twilight, string lights lit up the reception space with a warm glow and made it appear as though the rattan lighting was floating over the dance floor.
Advice from the wedding planner bride
"Don’t be afraid to break the mold. Make choices that feel right to you, not what you think you’re “supposed” to do. Planning your wedding — especially a destination wedding — is a journey, but it’s also one of the most beautiful opportunities to create an experience that reflects your heart. I’m so grateful I got to live this moment not just as a planner, but as a bride, surrounded by loved ones in one of the most beautiful places in the world."
