These Toilet Paper Wedding Dresses Give Us All the Feels

We just thought we could get this news on your radar, because itâs Monday, and hardly anyone can help feeling like s*** at the beginning of the week. Unless youâre part of the baller bathroom bridal crew (thatâs what weâre calling them) - 10 OG TP designers who find out whether theyâll be at least $2,500 richer come this Wednesday, June 20thâŠ
Quilted Northern and Cheap Chic Weddings team up every year for their Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest, and this will be their 14th time around the block (err, toilet?). Itâs always a stinkinâ good time, and this year is obvi no different - in fact, this might be the hottest group of contestants weâve seen yet. What started as 1,500 entries from hopeful 3-ply pro couturiers has been whittled down to 10 ah-mazing designers vying for the bragging rights of BFD with TP and the handsome đž reward that comes with that distinction.
And to be honest, this contest is next-level genius. I mean, Quilted Northernâs mission statement doesnât sound all that different from any bespoke bridal designer, right? Especially when it comes to âgiving you the tailored comfort that you expectâ and âcelebrating that you matter through the attention to details that make a difference.â Just like you want your butt to feel well-taken-care-of, pampered, and catered to, you want a wedding gown that goes that extra mile, carries an âunmatched legacy of craftsmanshipâ and shares your âobsession about all the tiny details.â
So, before we get into the dresses that seriously make us so excited (we almost have to pee), weâll just let you know that you HAVE to cast your vote(s) before 9PM tonight, June 18th, 2018. Winners will be announced following the FINALE runway show at Kleinfeld Bridal this Wednesday, and we literally cannot wait to see who wipes the competition away. My moneyâs on Augusto Manzanares, the detailing on this gown is so dope we canât even deal. But the back interest on Susan Brennanâs dress - matched with that overlapping 3D floral appliquĂ© is đ. And the dramatic floral skirt on Donna Vinclerâs dress gives us all the feels a certain WHITE By Vera Wang confection delivers. Letâs not forget, this was all done with just Quilted Northern Bath Tissue, glue, tape, needle and thread. Weâre sure that even some couture designers wouldnât be able to work with such a flushed-out arsenal of accoutrements.
