Art gallery-inspired wedding in Kansas City featuring family art
Paola and CJ's wedding was deeply inspired by an art gallery theme, a reflection of the bride's background in art school and the significant role art has played in her life. Growing up, Paola's father was a passionate painter, and his artwork has always been a cherished part of her upbringing. Incorporating his paintings into the wedding felt like a heartfelt tribute, allowing for his talent to be showcased in a way that honored his contribution to the bride's artistic journey. Planned with the help of Whatever Is Lovely Events and captured by Ashley Ice Photography and Ashley Ice Films, Paola and CJ's wedding at The Gallery Event Space highlighted all the right elements, making their wedding a beautiful portrait of the couple and their loved ones.
The concept: unique & entertaining elements
Paola and CJ wanted to create an experience that was anything but traditional. The couple thrives on entertaining and sharing joy with their friends, so they aimed to infuse the celebration with elements of surprise and delight, from a reception entertainer to artistic elements throughout. By including unique entertainment pieces, they kept guests engaged and created memorable moments that reflected their vibrant relationship.
Bridal style: J'adore Dior
Paola wore a beaded mermaid wedding dress with a statement making tulle bottom. Fashion-forward details, including Dior shoes and accessories elevated the outfit even further.
Sculptural ceremony design
