This timeless tampa wedding had some seriously impressive DIY
Blue and white is one of those wedding color palettes that never goes out of style. And despite how many times we've seen this color combo, there is an infinite number of ways to interpret it. This couple leaned into coastal vibes for their beachy Tampa wedding ceremony, then kept the reception timeless with white draped walls and a classic checkered dance floor. And we cannot get over just how many DIY projects this bride accomplished (and HOW AMAZING they turned out)! Keep scrolling to see even more from this beautiful day captured in these photos by Hannah T Photography.

the vision: timeless in tampa
On the waterfront lawn of Tampa River Center, guests made their way down the hydrangea-lined pathway to their seats for the waterfront ceremony. Framed by a spectacular floral arch by Ava-Elise Events, Thomas waited for his bride to grace the aisle. Escorted by both parents, Meghan was an absolute vision. After the heartfelt ceremony, guests found their seats in the spacious indoor reception, where disco balls hovered over a black and white checkerboard dance floor.
every last DIY
Their wedding day was filled with thoughtful moments and handmade decor. Meghan made a lot of the decorations herself (bar signs, seating chart, linen table names, invitations, matches, couples plates, name oysters, their ceremony sign, etc.), and they were amazing!
the fashion
Meghan's first dress was simple but gorgeous and fit her perfectly, and her second/reception dress was fun and looked like a disco ball. The bridesmaids all got to pick their own dresses; they just had to be blue, and they looked so good together.
bridesmaid baskets
Instead of traditional bouquets, each of the bridesmaids carried cute baskets of florals comprised of white roses, white tulips, with small blue blooms to tie in the rest of the color palette.
the bestest boy
You know we can't resist a fur-baby ring bearer! Just look at this baby and that bow tie–too cute! live painting
It warms our hearts so much to see how couples are investing in the arts. These hand-painted portraits are a favor that your guests will treasure for years to come—so much better than a koozie with your monogram, right???
ternd alert: a cake at every table
We are starting to see this trend pop up a lot these days. Instead of one big wedding cake, couples are opting for tiny cakes placed at each table. The cake doubles as decor and also serves as an icebreaker when the guests cut into it!
