Beach Please…A Plan B Wedding That Turned Out Absolutely Perfect!

Their wedding was supposed to be on the beach in the Bahamas, but thanks to Covid19, those grand plans were put on hold. That is until they had a wonderful thought...we have epic beaches right here in the US of A! After deciding to go with a destination wedding in Laguna Beach, these two went full force back into wedding planning mode. Thankfully, despite all of the obstacles in their way, this timeless wedding with boho elements and a groom in his Dress Blues has a very happy ending.

Though it wasn't their original plan, you couldn't tell from these fabulous photos by Kartsie Photography. Alesha De La Cruz raced against the clock and pulled together a wedding so perfect it could have been a styled shoot and we'd have never known! Third And Park created all of the amazing florals that flowed from the ceremony into the reception. Thanks to their planner, they were able to secure a stellar venue last minute-Montage Laguna Beach. Erin and JP were planning their dream wedding in the Bahamas when COVID's travel restrictions had other plans. They quickly switched directions and decided to be married on the coast of California in Laguna Beach. After hiring Alesha De La Cruz from De la Planning the wedding vision began to come to life with just 3 short months to plan.

THE FASHION

Erin and her bridesmaids got ready on-site at the wedding venue, Montage Laguna Beach. This is where she shared the sweetest first look with her ladies that had their jaws on the floor. She was dressed in a one-of-a-kind Ines by Ines Di Santo gown that was absolutely stunning.

A SPECIAL MOMENT

Before the ceremony, Erin and JP decided to do a first look and share a very special moment reading their vows to each other in private. It was the perfect way to connect before they joined their family for the celebration.

TRAVELING ARRANGEMENTS

Since the ceremony took place on the lawn, we wanted to include greenery into the floral design to tie in the surroundings. The touches of pampas were a way of us hinting at what was to come for the reception. In the reception design, we went full pampas and neutral blooms with candles for a touch of romance. The arch from the ceremony was even moved inside to add to the focal point of a gorgeous dessert display. Not only did it highlight the simple yet elegant cake design that had a modern touch of a geometric bottom tier, but it was a show stopper.
