the vision: refined & timeless
Designed and planned by Orsola Zanardelli Events, this wedding was an ethereal dream that came from afar—a union of two souls from different worlds: she from Sweden, he from Egypt. At Conti Di San Bonifacio, nestled among the authentic Tuscan landscapes, they signed their forever, surrounded by family and friends from across the globe. From the monochromatic florals by Stiatti Fiori to the fruit-forward reception, the day was a perfect balance of refined simplicity and timeless beauty. The ceremony overlooked the rolling Tuscan hills, followed by an intimate dinner styled with touches of burgundy and green, with fruits and vegetables adorning the tables as natural décor. It was a summer evening filled with good music, good wine, and beautiful people, united by a love that transcends borders and cultures.
the venue
The spacious property of the villa stretches out in every direction for as far as the eye can see. Perched on a hill, the historic stone structure is both impressive and inviting. Imagine hosting a welcome party at this pool as your guests start to arrive one by one!
getting ready
As the ladies took turns having their hair and makeup done, they sipped champagne and lounged in the Tuscan sun, clad in silk and lace. With her hair pulled back in a sleek bun, the bride put the finishing touches on her look. Then, it was time to help her into her dress.
the fashion
The bride looked stunning in a strapless drop-waist gown and a voluminous skirt with a train that went on for days! She paired the timeless gown with ivory satin Manolo Blahnik pumps, which added a bit of sparkle to the understated look. Her bridesmaids were equally elegant, each in their own black gown that reflected their own personal style. The groom and his men wore classic black tuxedos with shawl lapels for the black-tie affair.
a traditional italian wedding cake
Together, the couple added the finishing touches to their traditional Italian wedding cake. The bride piled on the fresh berries while the groom gave it a good dusting of powdered sugar.
