With an Italian summer as the inspiration, this couple and their talented team of vendors came up with a wedding at Moon Stone Manor that was as mouthwatering as it was vibrant. The cocktail hour showcased an array of fresh fruits to complement the theme—lemons, limes, melons, and bananas. Then came the dramatic reception, draped in pink and Aperol-hued striped linens, vibrant arrangements by Pomona Floral, and a matching orange Lambeth-style cake.

The bride, swathed in a dramatic ruffled tulle robe, lounged in the vintage bridal suite and prepped for the big day. Once her soft glam makeup and Hollywood waves were complete, it was time to slip into her dress and Jimmy Choo sandals.

the fashion

For the black-tie ceremony, the bride chose an elegant, yet sexy, silk mermaid gown with a pearl-encrusted bodice. The groom also dressed the part in a timeless black tuxedo. Guests clearly got the memo on the vibrant color palette because they arrived in bright summer shades like magenta, coral, and hot pink! Then the bride made not one, but two fit changes: a fitted long-sleeved lace gown for dancing and a chic feather-trimmed jumpsuit that we're obsessed with!

The best part was that in the evening, guests were able to “shop the market” for the fruits to take home with them! The remaining fruits were donated to a local shelter where they experience food deserts in Baltimore.

Ok, this is probably the first time we've ever seen a fully orange cake. Is it just us, or does it look even more delicious than usual?!? And the bright color really makes it pop and helps the cake double as decor for the reception.
