the vibe: rich & earthy
Nestled in the heart of the desert, this Joshua Tree wedding at Morada was a true celebration of natural beauty, personal style, and intentional design. Planned by Koral & Ko., the day unfolded like a modern desert dream, an ode to neutral earth tones, rich textures, and the quiet romance of moody elegance. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance the raw beauty of the landscape. Floral pillars created by Rebel Creative Co. framed the altar, mirroring the surrounding desert tones while adding a sculptural softness to the ceremony space. Photographer Danica Joy masterfully captured every moment, from intimate glances to sweeping desert vistas, delivering a visual narrative rich in warmth and authenticity.
As dusk settled over the desert, the reception came alive under a canopy of string lights. Two long tables from Bright Rentals welcomed guests for a shared meal by Desert Dine, styled simply with minimal florals and scattered fruits, such as figs and pears. Far from traditional, this wedding was a true reflection of the couple: modern, grounded, and wildly romantic. Every element felt like a love letter to the desert and to each other, making the celebration one guests (and vendors) won’t soon forget.
getting ready
In the cutest cotton nighties, Nikki and her ladies frolicked around the dessert grounds, truly living in each and every moment that the day had to offer. Then, layer by layer, they helped her into her bridal look.
the fashion
The bride wore a stunning floral lace gown by Honor NYC, radiating effortless grace with her natural, flower-dotted waves styled by Erika Vaught and soft, luminous makeup by Raymie of Face By Raymie. For the reception, she changed into a sleek second look by Bode, whose tailoring also suited the groom, who wore a light pink Bode suit paired with a bolo tie, a fresh take on Southwestern flair.
honoring loved ones who were there in spirit
One of the most touching moments was the linen reserved sign created by Studio Cynth for the bride’s late mother, marked with a single elegant calla lily, which was her favorite flower.
drinks & dessert
Signature mocktails from Benji Bar, the "Dark & Normy" and "Dreamweaver's Nectar", added personality and flavor, while a fruit-adorned cake by Fran Cake offered a sweet ending before the couple danced the night away with DJ Zephyr with Art Of Sound. Guests also enjoyed a playful photo booth moment, thanks to Classic Photo Booth.
