This spring, something unique unfolded at trobar, a wedding showcase that reimagines what the weddings of 2026 can look and feel like. Hosted at trobar Mallorca, a poetic gastronomic concept rooted in seasonality and soulful Italian food, the contrasts of the place don’t end here. The Sybarite Flamingo dreamed up a color bomb of joy and passion in the place to be for creatives of the island.
Florals and decor were created by HUMO Flowers, founded by Mar Gracia, whose background in fashion gives her a unique edge. Mar blends the raw with the refined, crafting botanical sculptures that feel like they belong to the environment they’re placed in. “I don’t just work with flowers; I work with atmosphere,” she says. Her philosophy is about creating mood, poetry, and movement: a design language that perfectly complemented trobar’s wild charm.

The location embraced the spirit of creative collaboration. trobar is more than gastronomy: it’s a living philosophy, where nature, design, and cuisine intersect to create emotionally rich, beautifully crafted experiences. At its heart is owner and curator Dolli Taylor, whose lifelong passion for discovering artists across the globe infuses every detail. From a Uruguay-based oil painter to a Cape Town sculptor or a Danish textile woodworker, each artisan’s journey finds its way into the universe. Their stories live on through the objects guests touch, eat from, and sip out of, turning each gathering into a tapestry of global creativity. It’s only fitting, then, that the wedding hosted here followed a similar path: intimate, immersive, and unbound by convention.

The couple channeled the beachy bohemian vibes of the destination for their ceremony looks, while guests rocked the vibrant color palette in flowy fringe-clad garb. Then the bride switched things up with a festive and feathered twist on the "something blue" for the reception.

Photography was led by Puy Cérmeño, a visual poet who turns fleeting moments into lasting stories. For Puy, wedding photography is not about staging perfection; it’s about truth. “I photograph love, silence, connections...it’s not about poses; it’s about presence,” she explains. Her work during the showcase was subtle and emotionally charged, capturing the event like a personal diary. And finally, filmmaker Ana from Yes & Tonic created a cinematic video piece that partly feels like a music video, partly art film, a true celebration of the talent and emotional synergy behind the project. Her work didn’t just document the day; it distilled its essence. Working with Ana is working with an artist; she’ll stay far away from the classic wedding videos that we’re all kind of bored with and instead create something in line with your personality, starring the couple as the main characters.
