Blue & white seaside wedding in Newport with a yacht as a backdrop
Aubrey and Nate met in late summer 2020 on Hinge, sharing an unexpectedly perfect first date at Seattle’s Gasworks Park that lasted over three hours. What began with low expectations quickly turned into something deeper. Nate proposed three years later in Aubrey’s hometown of Tampa, orchestrating a surprise celebration with both of their families and closest friends. It was a heartfelt beginning to their engagement and a reflection of how important their communities are to them. Their wedding day - captured by Hedi Field with florals by Robin Hollow Farms - was equally personal and intentional, drawing inspiration from a "modern seaside" aesthetic.
Bride-designed paper goods
Set in Newport on the first day of summer, the celebration featured soft blues, seafoam greens, and whimsical paper goods hand-designed by Aubrey herself.
Bridal style: family heirlooms
Thoughtful heirlooms, like Aubrey’s tanzanite ring and her mother’s tennis bracelet, added generational meaning, while fashion choices—like her CBK-inspired reception gown and Nate’s personalized suit—kept things stylish.
