the vision: mediterranean charm
Blending their rich Greek and Italian heritages, Rachel and Stefano’s wedding was a sun-drenched celebration of culture, family, and timeless elegance. The design was inspired by the charm of the Mediterranean coast; think hand-painted tiles, olive branches, citrus accents, and romantic sunset hues. With help from Loujune Designs and Paul Fenner Floral Design, guests were transported to a seaside villa through lush tablescapes, cascading florals, and candlelit warmth that carried into the night. Every detail, from the custom mosaic dance floor to the aperitivo hour, was a love letter to la dolce vita and the joy of two families becoming one.
trend alert: coffee table [guest]book
We're seeing this trend popping up everywhere at the moment, and we love it for so many reasons! First, we love that it's something that you can actually display and look at all the time. Second, we love that you can do it on a budget—heck, you can find some serious gems thrifting in the coffee table book section!
the fashion
The bride was ravishing in a sexy lace mermaid gown with daring sheer panels that highlighted her silhouette. She swept her luscious curls back into a refined yet laid-back half-up-half-down style. Her bridesmaids represented the color palette, with each girl choosing a color and a silhouette that fit her personal style. The groom also dressed for the occasion in a beautifully tailored navy blue suit.
a traditional italian wedding cake
It wouldn't be a proper Mediterranean wedding without a traditional Italian millefoglie. The bride and groom put the finishing touches on the confection, a dusting of powdered sugar, before cutting into the masterpiece.
