the vision: elegance in black & white
This Paradise Valley wedding took place at the dreamiest private residence, intimate, personal, and the perfect size for the people who matter most. The groom, a well-known DJ in the area, hand-selected every vendor he’s worked with over the years, creating a day built on trust, friendship, and so much heart. From emotional moments down the aisle to a reception that felt like pure magic, their wedding was intentional, stylish, and overflowing with joy. Designed and planned by Stylish Events by Lisa, the property was transformed into an intimate wedding venue. The ceremony unfolded on the lush grassy lawn, followed by cocktail hour by the pool, and then a seamless flip of the ceremony space into the reception. Florals by Simple Bliss Designs kept the palette clean and timeless, featuring white calla lilies for the bouquet and white delphinium throughout the arrangements. The tablescapes echoed this refined aesthetic with minimalist elegance, while the ceremony itself felt deeply meaningful with a shared prayer and the romantic touch of a live violinist.
the fashion
Kelvin and Nadia’s story began in the heart of the nightlife scene, where Kelvin’s career as a DJ and Nadia’s work in nightlife brought them together at an event that sparked an instant connection. Their wedding reflected that bold, fashion-forward energy with a striking black-and-white dress code: Nadia stunned in a white gown from Anita's Bridal, while Kelvin, his groomsmen, and every guest wore black, creating a dramatic and cohesive atmosphere that felt modern, elevated, and unforgettable.
good food and good drinks
Personal details were carried through into the reception, starting with two signature cocktails: Nadia’s drink, “The Dia,” made with rum, lime juice, mint syrup, and Sprite, and Kelvin’s “The Dior,” featuring vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice. Instead of a traditional cake, guests enjoyed individual bundt cakes to take home, adding a thoughtful and personal touch. A fun DIY shot board invited guests to take a shot and find their table, perfectly blending celebration, personality, and playfulness into the evening.
the dance floor
Nadia changed into a sexy halter dress with crystal and feather details to really get the party started. Under the twinkle lights, the couple and their guests danced the night away.
