Watercolor wedding that proved poolside parties are already timeless

poolside wedding reception

Katie and Mason’s wedding at Los Poblanos was nothing short of magical. It was every bit romantic and as it was timeless, and it was filled with the most stunning details. With perfect weather, soft summer light, gardens in full bloom, and the scent of lavender in the air, it was the perfect tone for a celebration straight out of a storybook. Captured on camera by Maura Jane Photography and planned with the help of the team at Los Poblanos, this garden-inspired wedding captured all of those perfect floral details - thanks to Albuquerque Florist - that brides have come to expect while also incorporating the effortlessly chic trend of a poolside reception.

Bridal style: blue & white watercolor

Katie wore a stunning watercolor gown that was soft, flowing, and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. It reminded us of a gown from Bridgerton, and felt like it was painted just for her, capturing the romantic whimsy of the day with every step she took.

First look with their fur baby

One of the sweetest moments from their day was their first look. Katie and Mason’s first look was shared not just between them, but with their beloved dog, Koa. She was bursting with excitement the moment she saw Katie, tail wagging and full of joy. It was a moment that perfectly reflected the warmth and closeness of this couple’s bond not just with each other, but with their furry friend they call family.
