Romantic coastal wedding in pink that was almost as white as the sand
Annie and Zach met through friends in 2017 at The Standard in NYC. Years later - after travels, red-wine nights, and life with their Frenchie - Zach proposed on the beach at Cheval Blanc St-Barth. For their February wedding, they wanted warmth, easy light, and a place where everyone could actually be together by the water. Amy Abbott Events helped them do just that. Chable Maroma made that feel simple with a ceremony on the sand, golden-hour cocktails, and dinner under the open sky, all captured by Moni Adri Photography.
Planning mantra: "one day at a time"
Due to demanding schedules in finance and a new baby in the mix, Annie and Zach kept choices simple and moved forward decisively. Their motto became, "One day at a time," as they locked in the big pieces and let small details serve the weekend.
Featured designer: Mira Zwillinger
Annie wore Mira Zwillinger with Alexandre Birman heels, before changing into a sequined Bronx and Banco mini for dancing. Beauty by Tania Tagle Makeup & Hair stayed polished and breeze-friendly: luminous skin, a soft eye, and brushed-back movement in the hair.
By-the-sea-focused neutrals
Zach wore a classic Suit Supply tux, while the wedding party kept to relaxed neutrals that felt right by the sea.
Frame the view, don't compete with it
The ceremony unfolded on a custom whitewashed platform with an asymmetric aisle threaded through the palms - still true to the beachfront, just more intimate and architectural. The palette stayed soft (light pink, white, and sage), while florals by Vanessa Jaimes Floral Design kept things airy and modern-tropical, framing the view rather than competing with it.

From live music to DJ
The soundtrack started with live music and shifted to a late-night DJ set. First-dance picks included “Unchained Melody,” “Three Little Birds,” and “Landslide.” Classic margaritas and a tres leches cake kept the mood celebratory, with a brief sparkle over the beach to close the night.
