their love story
Sasha and Dave both grew up in Miami, but it wasn’t until a birthday celebration at the iconic Colony Hotel in Palm Beach that their paths finally crossed. Dave swears he remembers every detail of that night—Sasha, not so much. It wasn’t until Sasha moved back to Palm Beach from Aspen that the two truly connected, and from that moment on, their relationship took off.
the vision: timeless elegance
With a wide circle of friends and an active social life, the couple always knew they wanted something more personal for their special day: a very small, intimate Jewish wedding that reflected their love and values. They chose the Brazilian Court Hotel, a romantic hideaway nestled in the heart of Palm Beach Island, as their venue. The hotel’s Spanish colonial charm, yellow facade, and lush tropical courtyards set the perfect tone for the understated elegance Sasha envisioned. The tablescapes featured a mix of white hydrangea and rose floral arrangements by Hydrangea Flowers and Events and soft opera candlelight to create an inviting garden-party ambiance, which felt perfect for a spring wedding in Palm Beach.
a furry wedding party
The ceremony itself was deeply meaningful, with only their sisters and beloved dogs Blu and Geddy (acting as their flower girl and ring bearer) joining them down the aisle beneath a beautifully adorned Chuppah. Rabbi Pinsky, who had known Dave since he was a boy, performed the ceremony. One especially unique part of the ceremony was the rose ceremony, when Dave and Sasha exchanged roses and pledged their love and loyalty to each other.
getting ready
Clad in an epic, floor-length bridal robe, Sasha lounged in the bridal suite with her bridesmaids as they got ready. Her elegant lace mermaid gown hung in the background as they did hair and makeup. She paired the look with a sleek and simple updo, tulle veil, pearl earrings, and white bow pumps from Bella Belle.
the fashion
Her dress, an intricate mermaid gown by Israeli designer Lee Petra Grebenau, featured delicate 3D floral beading and a corseted sweetheart neckline, a look she knew was “the one” the moment she tried it on. Sasha carried a bouquet of white tulips, echoing the wedding’s theme of simple elegance.
the ride
Vintage car rentals for weddings are making a big comeback, and we love to see it! For their grand exit, this happy couple made their getaway in a black vintage Rolls Royce, but not before snapping a few pics for the wedding album.
