the proposal
After nearly eight years together, Craig surprised Cassandra with the sweetest proposal at a charming local winery, where giant letters spelled out “Marry Me”. What started as an intimate moment quickly turned into a heartfelt celebration, with both families joining in to toast their love.
the vision: elegant yet modern
When it came to planning their wedding, the couple envisioned an elegant yet modern affair—one that blended classic black-and-white aesthetics with soft, natural elements. Choosing Mexico as their destination felt like second nature. It was the place where one of their first trips as a couple had taken them, and it held a special spot in their hearts. While they originally dreamt of a beachside wedding, they ultimately fell in love with the lush jungle setting of Kima Tulum. Together with their planner, Kristee from Fresa Weddings, they brought their vision to life—an effortlessly sophisticated ambiance where timeless touches met modern flair. The decor featured crisp monochrome tones, elevated by lush greenery in the floral designs by Luis Salas, creating a perfect harmony between elegance and the tropical surroundings.
The day was filled with unforgettable moments—from their emotional first dance to “Biblical” by Calum Scott, to a playful twist on dessert: warm Mexican churros served on the dance floor alongside Espresso Martinis. Yet beyond the beautiful details, it was the intimate, joyful atmosphere that truly defined the day, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. Luxart Wedding Studio perfectly captured the essence of their wedding with a seamless blend of editorial elegance and raw emotion, ensuring every memory felt as vivid as the moment itself. Despite a last-minute venue change just two months before the big day, Cassandra and Craig’s wedding became everything they had hoped for—proof that sometimes, the most magical places are found on unexpected paths.
the fashion
Cassandra stunned in the Riya gown by Jimme Huang Bridal—a sleek, strapless design that radiated grace. Craig complemented her look in a classic black Joseph Abboud suit, tailored with a subtle, meaningful detail: their wedding date sewn inside the jacket lining. Their bridal party echoed this chic style, with bridesmaids in dark teal and groomsmen in sharp black suits paired with velvet loafers—a fashion-forward twist on classic menswear.

espresso martini tower
Espresso martinis are definitely the drink of the moment, so instead of having everyone waiting for their espresso martini at the bar, the couple decided to ditch the champagne and do an espresso martini tower.
