pastel wedding ideas

Why stress yourself out planning (and paying for) a destination wedding when you have a venue like this in your own backyard? This timeless wedding inspo was shot at one of our favorite California wedding venues, Monserate Winery. With all of the charm of a Tuscan villa, it was the perfect setting for this artful, pastel-centered shoot. the vision: old-world charm meets modern sophistication

tuscan inspired wedding in california

This editorial, led by Bryce Gaston Events at Monserate Winery, captures the romantic allure of the European countryside, seamlessly blending old-world charm with modern sophistication. Nestled amidst picturesque vineyards and Tuscan-inspired architecture, the venue provided a breathtaking canvas for a wedding design that redefines timeless elegance. A soft palette of muted pinks, peaches, yellows, and natural greens evoked an organic and romantic atmosphere, thoughtfully curated to captivate high-end couples seeking European-inspired luxury in Southern California. The design draws its soul from Monserate Winery's inherent beauty, celebrating the harmony between nature and architecture. Textural elements—linen drapes, clay dinnerware, flowing napkins, and vintage glassware—enveloped the space in warmth, perfectly complementing the Italian stone and olive trees. Together, these details wove a narrative of whimsical romance and refined luxury, embodying the essence of Tuscan-inspired elegance.

the invitations

translucent wedding invitaions

When you go classic with your design, it's important to push the boundaries where you can to make sure your wedding is still unique. Take this invitation suite, for instance. The invitations themselves are fairly neutral and timeless, but then they added a modern twist by using a translucent velum envelope. Something as simple as that can actually be remarkable.

With Gen-Z couples increasingly prioritizing sustainability, this editorial shatters the myth that eco-conscious practices necessitate compromise in style or sophistication. It boldly proves that luxury, innovation, and sustainability can coexist in the wedding industry, setting a new standard for high-end, design-forward celebrations. By pushing the boundaries of creativity and logistics, this editorial inspires the next wave of weddings to be both environmentally responsible and breathtakingly beautiful. Foam-free florals by Le Champagne Projects, sourced from local farms, were arranged with intentionality, creating site-specific installations that felt as though they had flourished naturally in the space. The ceremony arch, gracefully adorning the courtyard gate, set a striking tone of intimacy and authenticity.

the fashion

Exuding timeless elegance, the bride wore a strapless corseted ball gown with an intricately boned dropped waist. She wore her hair down in tousled waves, and the beauty team kept the makeup natural and dewy to reflect the theme of the day. For her something blue, she accessorized the look with classic Manolo Blahnik pumps with just a hint of sparkle. The groom was equally dapper in a white dinner jacket and black pants. To really get the party started, the bride slipped into a playful mini dress with long off-the-shoulder sleeves, and the groom donned a classic black tux.

the cake

A four-tiered masterpiece, this unique cake was a refreshing change from the current Lambeth-style buttercream frosted cake trend. Angled, rectangular tiers dressed in crackled fondant tied into the natural terracotta elements from the venue and surrounding earth.
