the vision: vibrant garden party
Designed by MDP Events and set against the lush backdrop of Hardeman’s Secret Garden, Rachel and Collin’s wedding was a celebration of color, romance, and pure joy. Playful yet elevated, this Florida garden affair embraced a palette of lilac, peach, magenta, yellow, and soft pastels to create a vibrant, floral-forward day full of personality. The couple exchanged vows in the venue’s amphitheater, where cascading ground florals in vivid hues framed the ceremony space. Bistro chairs offered an organic contrast to the bold blooms by Bloom Shakalaka, creating a setting that felt both natural and magical. It was an intimate and heartfelt moment that set the tone for the rest of the day.
Guests then transitioned to cocktail hour on the lawn, where signature drinks, whimsical arrangements, and bamboo chairs welcomed them under the shade of gorgeous trees and garden foliage. The energy was light, celebratory, and full of anticipation for the evening ahead. The reception inside the greenhouse was nothing short of enchanting. A mix of round and feasting tables filled the space, adorned with vibrant florals, playful tableware, and shimmering napkins. Blush and purple water goblets added a jewel-toned touch, while a black and white checkerboard dance floor introduced a fun, modern contrast. As the evening unfolded and the music kicked off, the space transformed into an unforgettable party lit by laughter, love, and dancing.
the invitations
Whimsical and unexpected, these Art Deco-inspired wedding invitations are pure art. We really hope they framed one of these and hung it in their house! They're giving old-school fairytale book.
the fashion
For their black-tie garden wedding, the bride wore a romantic satin ballgown with lace appliques along the bodice, that draped delicately off the shoulder. The bridesmaids wore an array of pastel dresses, pulling in every color from the wedding design. The groom and his men dressed the part in timeless black tuxedos, with the groom sporting a white vest and white bow tie to set him apart. We're also low-key obsessed with these blue velvet sandals!
the cake
Serving as both dessert and decor, a delicate three-tiered cake decorated in the prettiest sugar flowers sat in a place of honor on its very own table at the reception.
