Whimsical lilac & chartreuse wedding with a custom wine window

casneak-128

Carissa and Anthony’s wedding was a joyful, design-forward garden celebration that blended romantic whimsy with bold color and Italian-inspired hospitality. The couple got engaged during a Christmas family photo shoot at their new home. While Carissa believed they were simply taking holiday portraits, Anthony had secretly arranged for a videographer to hide inside the house. When they stepped back inside to warm up by the fireplace, he surprised her with a heartfelt proposal - a moment they were able to capture forever. As the founder and creative director of Carissa Corsi Events, Carissa designed the entire wedding herself, hosted at the stunning Blithewold Mansion and captured by Stephanie Berenson Photography.

What we love: cheeky bar signs

Carissa incorporated cheeky bar signs that brought a sense of humor to the event. Also notable - the couple's nonalcoholic menu options!

Dance floor espresso martinis

One of the most memorable moments came when espresso martinis were passed on the dance floor later in the evening. Guests also found the bride’s grandmother’s homemade Italian cookies waiting at each table, a sweet and personal nod to family tradition.

Advice from the bride

Carissa’s advice to couples: focus on how you want guests to feel throughout the celebration. “Design is important, but creating moments that feel warm, personal, and unforgettable is what truly brings a wedding to life."
